Most beer drinkers start with lagers, partly because they are the most common style of mass produced beers, so are cheap and plentiful.
They are produced with bottom-fermenting yeast which give a light, slightly malty taste, have moderate to low bitterness, and a clean refreshing crisp to dry finish. They are usually served at very low temperatures.
Traditional mass produced lagers in Australia include Great Northern, Carlton Dry and Tooheys etc.
Our Keppel Lager is an easy drinking lager produced along classic German lines. Its clean, crisp and ideal to be consumed icy cold in our hot climate
